Words. Words. Words. From a young age, the importance of language was stressed upon me and to this day I have been known to agonize over finding just the “right” word to convey meaning.
I work in Communications – big surprise – and am always in awe of the perfect turn of phrase. I’ll rail against the misuse of ‘less’ and ‘fewer’, and I can’t bring myself to lose the Oxford comma. And as a Canadian, I am in that special space where I adopt English spelling for some words and use American spelling for others.
Many might say I am a Jill-of-all master of none, as I am also involved in graphic design, photography, and cooking. Some professionally, some not. But all done with heart – so be kind, dear reader, for all of the words you will find here are indeed Apropos of Nothing.
